The Indo-American Medical Association (IAMA) of Northeast Florida will host its third consecutive Health Fair and Screenings May 4 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Wyndham Downtown Jacksonville Hotel.
There will be free screenings for:
- high blood pressure
- diabetes
- high cholesterol
- eye exam
- dental screening
- prostate screening
- cardiac evaluation (including echocardiogram and carotid Doppler testing)
- podiatry screening and education
- nutrition counseling
- women’s health screening
- arthritis and osteoporosis evaluation
- mobile mammography (must be scheduled ahead of time. To schedule call 904-308-3780)
In addition to the screenings, there will be free hourly lectures by leading medical specialists.
