Addressing maternal and child health challenges in northeast Florida

11 / 4 / 241 / 24 / 25

Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition’s CEO, Faye Johnson, and Dr. Janet Dukes, our Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Action Plan Coordinator, joined First Coast Connect to discuss the current state of maternal and child health in our region. Joined by Dr. Mark Hudak, they provided insights into the challenges our community faces and the progress being made to improve outcomes for mothers and babies.

At NEFHSC, we are committed to fostering healthier futures for babies and all families in Northeast Florida. Our efforts aim to address critical health disparities, support families, and strengthen the community.

Explore our recent 2024 Project Impact Report for a more in-depth look at our impact and steps towards change.
