Trina Reed has worked for the Coalition as a family support worker with Healthy Families Jacksonville for over two years but is no stranger to the Coalition or Healthy Families. She was previously contracted by the Coalition to teach the “Make a Noise! Make a Difference!” lay health advocate curriculum for community residents that want to learn about infant mortality. Before that position, she worked at Healthy Families for three years before it was an initiative of the Coalition.
Trina is inspired by motivating others to reach their greatest potential, and she knew Healthy Families provided the necessary tools for families to move forward in life and do just that. Her biggest work accomplishments involve helping her clients to get the help they need and improve their situation. Trina describes herself as content. She is trained in the Helping Early Literacy with Practice Strategies (HELPS) Program and enjoys helping people physically, mentally and spiritually. Trina is also an evangelist, Sunday school teacher and loves spending quality time with family and friends.
