Ebony Mayham is a Family Partner with the Connect coordinated intake and referral program, linking families to the home visiting service that works best for them. She joined the Coalition in September 2017 because she felt like it was the best job that suited her career choice.
Ebony’s passion has always been to help people and working for the Coalition gives her that fulfillment. She started at the agency with the Healthy Families Jacksonville program, which opened her eyes to what families go through on a day-to-day basis and gave her the ability to see things from a different perspective. In April 2020 she joined the CI&R team, which allows her to help people by informing them about the different programs and resources that are available to them in their community.
Ebony is passionate about being being the best role model for her children and achieving success. Her biggest achievement out of work is getting her credit score where it needs to be so that she can start the process of purchasing her first house.
Outside of work, she spends time with her children now that she has the time to, since completing school and getting her degree. She describes herself in one work as MOTIVATED because once she starts something, she doesn’t give up.
