Dustin Arceneaux has been working at the Coalition for over two years as the program director of National Health Corps Florida, an AmeriCorps program that recruits, trains and places emerging leaders in resource-limited organizations. Dustin’s biggest achievements involve partnering with new agencies that meet different needs in the community, such as in the Jacksonville arts community, and building connections among agencies to use combined resources and solve public health issues together. The one word Dustin uses to define himself is undefinable. He is motivated by achieving his goals and assisting others in doing the same and is passionate about ensuring equal access to mental health services. A personal experience influenced his decision to work at the Coalition when a former girlfriend lost their child due to a miscarriage, moving him to want to learn more about preventing infant mortality. Dustin is a life-long learner who enjoys reading in his spare time to feed his mind.
