Coalition projects featured at NFIMR meeting

Three Coalition projects were highlighted in the poster session of the National Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (NFIMR) meeting held recently in Washington DC. Activities of the Northeast Florida Community Action Team (CAT) around the life course, the Camellia Project and the 39 Week consumer education and awareness campaign were featured at the 7th national conference.

Conference speakers and presentations focused on opportunities to promote health equity through community Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) projects. Attending the two-day meeting were Marsha Davis and Shelby Salter, Magnolia Project staff and CAT members; FIMR coordinator Laurie Lee, RN, BSN; and Executive Director Carol Brady.
