The Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition will be hosting a series of events during Black Maternal Health Week 2021 to bring awareness to the health disparities Black moms and babies experience.
- Monday, April 12: Mindful Motherhood, 6 to 7:15 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 13: For the Love of Mothers, 12 to 1:10 p.m.
- Wednesday, April 14: Diaper Drive, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Thursday, April 15: Food Giveaway, 3 to 5 p.m.

Black Maternal Health Week, an initiative of the Black Mamas Matter Alliance, is a week of awareness, activism, and community building intended to deepen the national conversation about Black maternal health in the United States; amplify community-driven policy, research, and care solutions; center the voices of Black Mamas, women, families, and stakeholders; provide a national platform for Black-led entities and efforts on maternal health, birth and reproductive justice; and enhance community organizing on Black maternal health.
